Patriot
What do you think you can contribute to America? Every citizen is called to be a patriot. An ordinary person can do extraordinary things by just being an honest law, abiding citizen. A firefighter is patriotic because he helps put out fires. A policeman is patriotic because he protects the people in the town and the city. Factory workers there patriots because they build things to make things work and they fix things. Restaurant owners are patriotic because people need to eat and if there wasn’t a restaurant owner there would be no food. Grocery people are patriotic because they have to care about the food that they put out on the shelf. The Navy and the Army are very patriotic because they have to fight for our country. The army has to fight for our country in Iraq and in Iran. The Navy is patriotic on the seas. My cousin, Silas, is a navy man and is a good example of a person who is patriotic. We, students, are patriotic because we recite the Pledge of Allegiance everyday. Church groups are patriotic because they help other people like going into homes providing food for other people.
Each person in their own small way can contribute to the overall good of the U.A.S., and are, therefore, patriotic! So, yes, does mater today.
